The Latvian and Baltic Centre's Small Printed Items Reading Room of the National Library of Latvia offers documents from the diverse and rich small works collection, which reflects social and cultural life in Latvia from the beginning of the 19th century to the present day.
Collection
The following items are collected and stored in the small collection:
- address books
- phone books
- instructional and informative publications from various organizations
- statutes
- performance reports
- instructions
- regulations, suggestions, instructions, recommendations
- plans
- publisher catalogs and various price lists
- theater, cinema, sports programs
- brochures, booklets, product catalogs
- political party programs and election and information materials
- various advertising expenses
- calendars (folding wall, tear-off, notepads, planners, diaries)
- sheet-based publications (flyers, advertisements, labels).
