A time to study. A time to relax. A time to experience a night at the Castle of Light! On 13–14 November 2026, the National Library of Latvia (NLL) invites university students and their friends to “Student Night at the NLL”!

From 18:00 to 22:00, explore the NLL's resources and discover how they can support your studies and professional development. Attend lectures, discussions and workshops, test your knowledge in quizzes, and enjoy student film screenings.

The night programme starts at 22:00:

• Dance the night away at the Castle of Light disco with DJ Linda Samsonova.
• Take part in an overnight hackathon and win valuable prizes.
• Party at the library!

A bar will be open at the "Divi Raiņi" café.

And most importantly — for the first time ever, you'll be able to spend the night at the Castle of Light! We'll welcome the morning with yoga above the rooftops of Riga, followed by a delicious and educational breakfast.
